"I wrote this song when I was in high school, I called myself “Queen of this motherfucking party” and started writing a lot about dehumanization because so many times I’ve been treated like a zoo animal, never like a human, always like a spectacle. This fuelled me to fully embrace the spectacle and distance myself from most things humane. The changing of my body started; at the moment of writing it I was also going through physical changes due to poor health as well as just growing up so it was literal as well. Later, this idea expanded to the rest of the world, changing bodies in our future; the way we can modify how we look now, when we post on social media, how parents have the chance to choose the genes for the child."
